Richard Sanborn
Partner/Creative Director
Richard is an award winning director, cinematographer, and his wife says he’s funny. His creative philosophy is “No two commercials should ever be the same.”
From a young age of shooting home movies with his siblings to working on big-budget films such as First Man and Game Night, Richard has been immersed in film his entire life. Starting his career as a commercial visual effects artist in Virginia Beach, VA, he added directing and cinematography to his repertoire. After finding success in VA, Richard shifted his endeavors to the burgeoning commercial market in Atlanta, GA. What keeps Richard passionate about commercial directing is how every project requires a novel approach, keeping the creative process fresh and unique.
After working on many “big brand” commercials Richard decided to start Blue Goose Productions, a company that can provide the same big budget quality at a far more reasonable price than the competition.
Austin Chunn
Partner/Lead Producer
Austin is an accomplished producer, international actor and Renaissance man. His on-set philosophy is to “Lead by example, trust others and always keep communications open.”
After graduating from business school, Austin moved to Atlanta where he began his career as an actor. With a background in business and an eye for aesthetics, Austin easily parleyed his acting experience into producing and directing. As senior producer at BGP, what motivates Austin is the collaborative process and the production design work that defines the visual style of commercials and films.
In 2019, Austin worked on a film in Prague, CZ, collaborating with a multi-national cast and crew, representing over 12 countries. To date he has won over 30+ awards, including the 23rd Annual Fade In Awards.
